Central Library @ Vignan Institute of Technology & Management
The Library of the Vignan Institute of Technology & Management (VITAM) Berhampur, was established in 2008 and with the starting of academic departments in the Institute. Apart from the Central(Main) Library it has departmental libraries also. The primary mission of the library is to support the educational programs of the institute by providing physical and intellectual access to information, consistent with the present and the anticipated educational functions of the institute. In accordance with the objectives of the institute, the library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for the faculty and the student community of the institute. The collection of the library includes books, journals, reports, and magazines. The library offers services such as Reference Services, Referral Service, User Guidance Service, Cataloging and Classification Service, Circulation Service, Weekly display of recent additions of periodicals and books, Bibliographic Service, Photocopy Service and many others.
