VITAM - A Ragging Free Campus
VITAM strongly follows its anti-ragging policy and implements it to prevent any kind of ragging related activities. The institute has taken several steps and timely actions including monitoring and student-counseling to ensure that the system remains in active phase to meet all the requirements and to make the campus 24 X 7 ragging free. Anti Ragging Cell is actively working since its formation (6th September 2008) and is headed by Dr. G Eswara Rao. Also the management, administration, faculties and staffs, together conducts several meetings with the newly joined fresh as well as senior students appraising them about the ragging free policy of the institute and encourages the seniors to adopt the good practices of interaction with fresh students, to develop brotherhood and friendly relations As a part of prevention of any type of ragging, the institute provides contact numbers of Director, Dean, Head of the Department(s) and Warden(s), to all the freshers and encourages them to make a call in case of any requirements or counselling.
