Research and Entrepreneurship activities @ VITAM


Research-&-Development in VITAM:

Research, Publication, Presentation, Consultancy and Project handling are active as well as attractive part of VITAM Culture. The research areas and research topics covers almost all major specializations, that the academic department handles. Faculty and students are actively involved in research and research related activities. VITAM supports research work by providing advanced computing facilities and updated laboratory equipment. Management's encouragement and participation has made VITAM, committed to carry out research in areas across Technology and Business-administration. Presently, Prof. P.C. Das is the Professor I/C for Research-&-Development activities happening in VITAM.

Focused are given on areas like Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Management Science and Environmental Science.




Entrepreneurship in VITAM:

The objective of this Cell is to encourage and provide support to start up ventures as well as to provide consultancy to the establish business houses. Along with the initiatives and encouragement, this cell promotes project having social relevancy and self sustainability. VITAM is committed to provide opportunity to students for setting up businesses right from the product development stage up to the scale up, creating a positive impact at the bottom of the pyramid all along the way.

Presently, the cell is headed by Prof. B. Srinivas Rao.

VITAM's objective is to inspire and motivate the budding entrepreneurs and to facilitate them in discovering the various opportunities and challenges prevalent in today's business scenario. Supported by PhDs and experience Professors (having active industrial relations), this cell looks towards creating an opportunity where the student could interact with accomplished entrepreneurs and can learn from them, thus enhancing their entrepreneurial skills.
