SC/ST Cell @ VITAM
SC/ST Cell has been constituted in VITAM to resolve all the affairs and problems related to the SC/ST Employees and Students of the Institute. Presently, SC/ST Cell at VITAM is headed by Dr. Prabhu Prasad Mishra Following are the important work under SC/ST Cell: As a Grievances Redressal Cell for the grievances of SC/ST students and employees and renders them necessary help in solving their academic as well as administrative problems. It functions to promote higher education among the SC/ST or weaker communities that are suffering from economic, social and educational deprivations. It continuously monitors and evaluates the reservation policies and other programs intended for SC/STs by the Government, AICTE or University for their effective implementation at VITAM Berhampur. It suggests the follow-up measures to the administration and management of the Institute for achieving the objectives and targets laid down by Government, AICTE or University for the empowerment of SC/STs.
