Vignan Institute of Technology and Management is the brain child of Vignan Educational Trust (VET). VET was started in 2007, registered at Gunupur, Rayagada District. Vignan Institute of Technology and Management is the first educational venture of VET. It’s formed to produce the best of best technocrats and skilled managers from the State of South Odisha.The trust has been formed by professionals from engineering and management background steeped in years of experience .VET is committed to establish VITAM as the numero one in the succeeding years.
VITAM is situated at Laxmipur, near the famous Bhairavi Temple, Mantridi, just 15kms away from Brahmapur. Established in the year 2008 under the aegis of VET , VITAM is affiliated with BPUT , Odisha and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi. Perhaps this is the only university formed, managed and run by professors, who are continuously monitoring and mentoring for excellence to set a benchmark in the field of education.
