About The Department
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was started in the year 2008 along with the inception of the Institute. It has 60 intake capacity. The department is managed by number of well qualified faculty members having experience in Industry as well as in Research fields.
Department of Computer Science & Engineering is having SIX well furnished Computing Labs with LCD projectors. Systems are connected with Internet/Intranet and and Labs are WiFi enabled. Apart from teaching and research, the faculties are also engaged in consultancy projects.

Beyond Academics
VITAM believes in all round development. With this motto, Computer Science & Engineering department is actively organizing and participating in events related to Technological Awareness, Technical Competitions and Cultural Activities. The students of the department, with help and association from faculties, had formed a club which is active in organizing workshops for creating general awareness in technological development and conducts classes to share and discuss on the latest trends in the dynamic field of Information Technology. The department has tradition to organize inter-departmental workshops, symposiums and cultural activities.
Students of this department had also brought many laurels and certificates from International and National Conferences and Paper presentation events held in reputed Institutes and Organization, located in different parts of India.
