About The Department
The Department of Civil Engineering at Vignan Institute of Technology and Management (VITAM), Berhampur, was established in 2013 and has steadily evolved into one of the core departments of the Institute. The department offers an Undergraduate program (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering with an intake capacity of 60 students. It is supported by a team of highly qualified and dedicated faculty members possessing rich academic and industry experience.
The department is headed by Dr Suryamani Behera, who brings over 10 years of teaching experience and strong leadership in guiding both academic and co-curricular activities. The faculty members, most of whom hold M.Tech. degrees, are committed to providing quality education and fostering innovation in emerging areas of Civil Engineering.
