History

Vignan Institute of Technology and Management (VITAM), located in the serene surroundings of Mantridi, near the historic Bhairabi Temple and easily accessible via Golonthara, Berhampur, is a premier institution established in 2008. Renowned for its strong academic foundation and state-of-the-art infrastructure, VITAM is affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, and approved by AICTE, Government of India.

VITAM offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across diverse disciplines. The Undergraduate (B.Tech.) programs include Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, and Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. The Postgraduate (M.Tech.) programs are offered in Machine Design and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, along with a comprehensive MBA program offering specializations in Human Resource, Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT, and Rural Management.
