The Library of Vignan Institute of Technology and Management (VITAM), Berhampur, was established in 2008, coinciding with the inception of the Institute and its academic departments. In addition to the Central (Main) Library, each department is equipped with its own Departmental Library, ensuring easy access to academic resources across disciplines.

The primary mission of the library is to support the academic and research pursuits of students and faculty by providing both physical and intellectual access to a wide range of information resources. In alignment with the objectives of the Institute, the library continually strives to develop a comprehensive and balanced collection of documents catering to the needs of the VITAM community.

The library’s collection includes a diverse range of books, journals, magazines, reports, and reference materials, spanning various fields of study.

In addition, the library offers access to digital resources through platforms such as NPTEL, DELNET, and e-journals, and is supported by automated library management software for efficient cataloguing, circulation, and user access.

With its growing collection, digital initiatives, and user-focused services, the library continues to serve as a vital knowledge hub and an integral part of the academic framework at VITAM.
